The 2024 July Star Wars comic solicitations are here and, well, one wouldn’t be wrong for being even more interested in the advanced solicits for August that Dark Horse included! But July 2024 isn’t a slouch when it comes to what it’ll have to offer, as the deadly Inquisitorious take center stage in the launch of their new miniseries, Inquisitors, the final Darth Maul: Black, White & Red looks to give the series a memorable finale, Luke Skywalker will be hanging out with one of his mother’s doppelgangers (?!), Ty Yorrick while have to face her past, and so much more! As for the August reveals, The High Republic fans will want to take extra note of what’s to come! So head below and check out the July 2024 Star Wars comic solicitations!

Comic News: Inquisitors Miniseries Out in July!

It feels like Star Wars is entering its villain era, from taking over the Empire State Building, the Tales of the Empire announcement, even the upcoming The Acolyte showing the rise of the darkness, and now this announcement: the Inquisitors comic miniseries! Written by Rodney Barnes with art by Ramon Rosanas, Inquisitors is out July 3, following the group of Jedi hunters after their next target, a new Jedi named Tensu Run! Star Wars Comics February 2023 Solicitations

Since I never celebrated Valentine’s Day outside of like grade school when we all had to, February hasn’t usually had anything big for me to concern myself with, but since it’s my wife’s birthday month, there’s always plenty to do now and love…just like all these Star Wars comics in February 2023’s solicitations! February signals the start of Sana Starros’ long overdue and much anticipated solo series, Qi’ra’s next big move plays out in Hidden Empire, the Battle of Jedha comes to High Republic comics, we’ll get to see Yoda and Dooku working together, Doctor Aphra makes her latest attempt to free herself of the Spark Eternal, and so much more! Star Wars Comics October 2022 Solicitations

October is always an exciting month for me since it’s my birthday, but it’s now also the anniversary of my wedding! Though when I tell you I’m doubly excited for THIS October, it’s because Phase Two of The High Republic launches!! Canon Comic Review: The Mandalorian #1

The Mandalorian #1 kicks off the 8-issue adaptation of the series’ first season, brought to life by writer Rodney Barnes, Georges Jeanty on art, Karl Story for inks, Rachelle Rosenberg as colorist, and Joe Caramagna for lettering. Not straying from the series’ opening chapter, The Mandalorian #1 is a solid enough adaptation, and while I won’t be reviewing more issues for a variety of reasons (including I already reviewed these episodes), reading this issue brought up an interesting discussion to be had about ownership of Star Wars material (or anything, for that matter) in this new streaming age, so I’ll be focusing more on that below. Star Wars Comics August 2022 Solicitations

With less than a week before Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2022, here are the August Star Wars comics solicitations, which include the beginning of Dark Horse’s return to the Saga with their all-ages input! Most of the issues in the solicitations will actually hit in August, as it seems the delays are back under control for now, but a few issues from prior months are scheduled to come out in August 2022 as well, so I’ve made sure to reference them too. Otherwise, feast your harvest-season eyes on T’onga’s final bid to save Cadeliah from Qi’ra’s Crimson Dawn, the next glimpse of Obi-Wan’s past, Chewie behind bars (again, but like can’t he just bend them?), and Darth Vader facing his most feared enemy…sand??!!?
