Woody Harrelson Joins Donald Glover and Emilia Clarke For Young Han Solo Standalone Film

Even if a lot of fans aren’t particularly interested in a young Han Solo tale (including myself since we’ve been down the well before), it’s impossible to stay jaded against it now with the cast they are assembling and the creative team behind the endeavor. Woody Harrelson is the latest to join the film, following other big stars like Donald Glover (as a young Lando Calrissian) and Emilia Clarke (her role’s yet to be announced). Now am I not only excited for the film, but it’s beginning to feel like it might be a great gateway drug to Star Wars fandom for more casual or new fans. Han Solo #3

– Spoiler Review –

Is the Empire Han Solo’s biggest threat on his mission to rescue wayward Rebellion spies or is it one of the spies themselves? Han Solo #3 deepens the mystery at the core of the story, takes a good long look at what makes Han tick, raises questions about Loo Re Anno, and introduces someone who’ll cause even more trouble for Han and Chewie…plus they still have a race to run! All those things add up to Han Solo quickly becoming my favorite new series of 2016. Continue reading “Canon Comic Review: Han Solo #3”

Han Solo #1

– Spoiler Review –

Is it possible for too much Han Solo to ever be too much of a good thing? From writer Marjorie Liu, artist Mark Brooks, and colorist Sonia Oback comes the Han Solo miniseries, which attempts to tackle that question (especially with the character’s A Star Wars Story anthology film still on its way). It might only be one issue in, but already thanks to a strong character focus and entertaining and mystery laden plot, I’m pretty sure the answer to the question is simply: never.
