Young Jedi Adventures Shorts Arrive on Star Wars Kids YouTube

The High Republic comes to life for the first time with three Young Jedi Adventures shorts, dropping on Star Wars Kids’ YouTube a month before the series’ April 26 May 4 start! They are adorable little bits of Jedi-starring goodness with great little messages of helping others, teamwork, and other aspects you’d want little ones to learn, making me wish I had these when I was younger but I’m glad a whole new generation of fans will have this to introduce them! Head below for the neat new poster and the other two shorts (the first one I provided above)! Continue reading “Young Jedi Adventures Shorts Arrive on Star Wars Kids YouTube”

The High Republic Show Season Three Premiere: Phase II Reveals and Celebration London Hype

I can’t believe we’re on what’s being called the third season of The High Republic Show! Host Krystina Arielle is hilarious as ever, from the skit with the Yoda statue to her presence in interviews, it’s a blessing she’s still with the team. The first show of the season and the latest for Phase II does a great job catching up fans on what’s all happened so far, and while it has some interior sneak peek for upcoming content, it’s clear they are holding back a bit for the Celebration Europe panel in April. Head below for the new looks ahead. Continue reading “The High Republic Show Season Three Premiere: Phase II Reveals and Celebration London Hype”

Young Jedi Adventures Premieres May 4, Books Announced {UPDATED}

Young Jedi Adventures Cast

As a big fan of the initiative, it’s been awesome to see The High Republic grow beyond its publishing beginnings. I’ve had the chance to enjoy the VR related games out there and am eagerly awaiting The Acolyte’s premiere, though on May 4 (April 26 for the shorts) here’s more High Republic-era set content on its way: Young Jedi Adventures! The youngling focused animated series premieres on Disney+ for Star Wars Day alongside Star Wars Visions Volume 2, while a range of books have been announced for the newest and youngest fans to enjoy, so head below for all the details! star wars visions volume 2 studios announced top

Embracing May the Fourth once again, Lucasfilm promises quite the treat for 2023: Star Wars: Visions Volume 2!! After the first batch was such a big hit, it made sense to return to the idea and explore new studios as well. I had some hopes we’d see some returning studios to deliver follow-ups to their memorable and unique stories, but from the list of studios involved, I’m sure we’ll have new favorites once the next Visions Volume drops! Head below for the list of studios and the titles {plus details on the writer/directors} of the upcoming shorts. Continue reading “Star Wars: Vision Volume 2 Releases May 4, Studios Announced!”

The Mandalorian Season Three Final Trailer Blasts Off

The next season of Din and Grogu adventures is nearly upon us and The Mandalorian’s season three official trailer promises both a bigger galaxy and the continued focus on the growing father/son dynamic of the unlikely duo. The outsized focus on those two doesn’t mean we get some glimpses of new places or storylines, as a Carson Teva sighting comes with ominous warnings, more Grogu Order 66 flashbacks to come, and B1 battle droids chilling…at a droid bar?! March 1 is closing in, so head below for some screenshots from the new trailer, including the small extra footage in the Disney+ version! Final The Bad Batch Season Two Trailer Arrives

With less than a month until its premiere, season two of The Bad Batch got its final trailer. While it contains quite a few things we’ve seen in Celebration Anaheim trailer (more Gungi is never a bad thing!!), it offers some new scenes with Commander Cody, Crosshair, Bail Organa, new characters, and hints at many of the adventures the team will go on in its second season, though it makes it clear not even a slight delay lead to them even considering fixing the whitewashing concerns fans have been so vocal about. The 16-episode season premieres with two episodes on January 4, 2023, and will close out on a two-part finale on March 29. Find the full episode title list, new poster, and some images below the cut! News: Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny Trailer, Jedi Battle Scars Cover Revealed, The Mandalorian S3 Premieres March 1

jedi battle scars cover revealed news

While we are primarily a Star Wars blog, Lucasfilm does more than Star Wars (I’m going to start watching the Willow show soon), the mynocks would never let me not mention Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny had its first trailer today (which you can watch below the cut). Back to Star Wars, the upcoming novel Jedi: Battle Scars by Sam Maggs had its full cover revealed and a blurb with intriguing new details, along with a confirmed release date of March 7. The fun doesn’t end there, as on March 1, and overlapping with The Bad Batch’s second season, The Mandalorian’s third season premieres. Head below for the new Battle Scars details and its full cover! The Acolyte Cast Announced, Synopsis Revealed

The Acolyte Title Card

Not only are there great Star Wars TV shows already available to watch, but there are plenty more on their way. One of my most anticipated, especially since it ties into the stellar The High Republic initiative, is The Acolyte. The official site provided an update on the show, revealing it not only started production in the UK, but also confirmed rumors and revealed some surprising new cast members to join Amandla Stenberg! Head below for the full list and a neat little behind-the-scenes shot! Continue reading “The Acolyte Cast Announced, Synopsis Revealed”

New Andor Trailer Wows, Premiering Sept 21 Now With 3 Episodes

My initial reaction is laden with expletives, because holy mynocks is that a brilliant full trailer for Andor! I love what they’ve managed to do with the Volume to shoot most of the other shows (and can’t wait to see how they continue to use it), but Andor filmed for a long time on a lot of sets and it’s clear from this trailer how visually stunning that’s helped make this show. It looks like another Star Wars movie, but this time on the small screen via Disney+! While it’s disappointing the show’s been delayed until September 21 for its premiere, bringing with it three-episodes instead, I think this trailer shows why it’s going to be way worth that wait. Since I last covered Andor at the Lucasfilm Showcase Panel, while we knew the two season show would take place 5 years prior to Rogue One and lead right into it, it’s since been revealed season 1 will take place over a year, while every three episodes of season two will cover a year, taking us up to the film; it’s a gutsy idea and I can’t wait to see how it’s handled, especially since season one looks so incredible already. Head below for character names and a slick new poster! UPDATE: Here’s our review of the series’ three episode premiere; follow along here for more reviews as the series airs!
