History is sort of repeating itself, because after publishing a Legends comic about Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade’s wedding over 20 years ago, Dark Horse is bringing us another wedding special: The High Republic Adventures – Phase III: The Wedding Spectacular One Shot, this time focusing on the wedding of former Jedi Lula Talisola and Zeen Mrala! The covers for this one are absolutely gorgeous, so head below to check them all out and return to the Manor on December 18 for our review of what will sure be nuptials to remember!
In case you’re a little behind on The High Republic Adventures – Phase III, Lula Talisola and Zeen Mrala just proposed to one another, despite the Nihil’s arrival on Eriadu, in an issue out earlier this month, so apologies for the spoilers but hey, we’re all about to see if they can successfully tie the knot or not in the upcoming The Wedding Spectacular! It’ll be written by Daniel José Older of course, while artists Harvey Tolibao, Toni Bruno, and Nick Brokenshire will bring the ceremony, and any shenanigans, to life, with Michael Atiyeh coloring and Comicraft lettering. The time has finally come to gather the resistance forces on Eriadu to witness Lula Talisola and Zeen Mrala, the young freedom fighters championing the fight against the Nihil, join hands in marriage. Friends and family throughout the galaxy will be joining in the celebration of light, life and love. But just in case, the dress code does include holstered weapons, as war could break out at any moment!
