Out of the film panel at D23, The Rise of Skywalker got its first teaser poster, a splashy affair in the fight between the light and the dark, with ol’ Sheev himself looming over the resulting battle. There was also a sizzle reel shown to attendees, which had shots from every film, and ended with new TROS footage, including showing Rey hooded, cloaked, and wielding a red, double bladed lightsaber?!?!?!?!?!?! It’s exclusive to the convention until Monday, a not too terrible wait, though getting to see Rey’s new look (which over on Twitter I surmised is from a scene of Rey raiding Kylo Ren’s closet for a fun afternoon) is making me want the weekend to be over for once.
