October is set to be an eventful month, as my wife and I finally will have our postponed wedding ceremony and go on our honeymoon, and maybe celebrate my birthday in there somewhere! So it’s little anxiety inducing for me to see that it’ll also be an eventful month for Star Wars comics: The High Republic era deals with some shocking events in the most recent novel releases, while the months-long epic mega crossover event War of the Bounty Hunters comes to its conclusion in October, where it promises to change the status quo of Star Wars comics. Star Wars Comics September 2021 Solicitations

September is not a favorite month for many, as it means the return to school and the advent of colder weather here in the Northern Hemisphere. If there’s one thing to look forward to however, never count out another packed month of Star Wars comics! September’s solicitations for Star Wars comics include the penultimate issues in the giant War of the Bounty Hunters crossover, which sees Crimson Dawn’s true purpose for stealing the frozen Han Solo come clear, the secret history of Boushh, and Luke finding out big truths, Ghost of Vader’s Castle brings the fall haunts from IDW, while The High Republic comic find a Jedi…amongst the deadly Nihil?! Star Wars Comics August 2021 Solicitations

With the on-going War of the Bounty Hunters crossover, every month looks packed for Star Wars comics, but August’s solicitations seem to have to unpack than the months before. There’s a big convergence of High Republic characters in a big, upcoming battle with the deadly Drengir, a battle royale with Jabba the Hutt, Darth Vader, and Boba Fett, Luke Skywalker has gone missing…again, and holy forking shirtballs Doctor Aphra and Sana Starros come face-to-face with Vader! Peak Inside The High Republic – The Monster of Temple Peak and Meet Ty Yorrick

The second wave of content for The High Republic’s Phase I starts in June with the second adult novel, The Rising Storm, written by Cavan Scott. One of the main characters will be former Jedi turned monster hunter/gun-for-hire Ty Yorrick and today the official site offered new details on her, from a character video to the first look at her upcoming graphic novel from IDW, The Monster of Temple Peak due in August. Livestream for The High Republic Launch Reveals Trailer, New Content, Three Phases, And More!!
