Star Wars Comics November 2021 Solicitations

By November 2021, Star Wars comics will be changed forever by the events of the War of the Bounty Hunters crossover, but one look at these solicitations and you’d wonder how it sounds much different than what’s come before…though of course they weren’t going to reveal how everything will change via these solicits! The official site’s post with the early preview suggests, “As the story ends, the…landscape will find a new status quo,” so it sounds like November will deal with the fallout from the crossover’s events. It sounds like an intriguing month anyways, with each series dealing with the fallout of Qi’ra and Crimson Dawn’s return while The High Republic era has some potentially big revelations. October is set to be an eventful month, as my wife and I finally will have our postponed wedding ceremony and go on our honeymoon, and maybe celebrate my birthday in there somewhere! So it’s little anxiety inducing for me to see that it’ll also be an eventful month for Star Wars comics: The High Republic era deals with some shocking events in the most recent novel releases, while the months-long epic mega crossover event War of the Bounty Hunters comes to its conclusion in October, where it promises to change the status quo of Star Wars comics. With the on-going War of the Bounty Hunters crossover, every month looks packed for Star Wars comics, but August’s solicitations seem to have to unpack than the months before. There’s a big convergence of High Republic characters in a big, upcoming battle with the deadly Drengir, a battle royale with Jabba the Hutt, Darth Vader, and Boba Fett, Luke Skywalker has gone missing…again, and holy forking shirtballs Doctor Aphra and Sana Starros come face-to-face with Vader!
