Star Wars Comics July 2024 Solicitations

The 2024 July Star Wars comic solicitations are here and, well, one wouldn’t be wrong for being even more interested in the advanced solicits for August that Dark Horse included! But July 2024 isn’t a slouch when it comes to what it’ll have to offer, as the deadly Inquisitorious take center stage in the launch of their new miniseries, Inquisitors, the final Darth Maul: Black, White & Red looks to give the series a memorable finale, Luke Skywalker will be hanging out with one of his mother’s doppelgangers (?!), Ty Yorrick while have to face her past, and so much more! As for the August reveals, The High Republic fans will want to take extra note of what’s to come! So head below and check out the July 2024 Star Wars comic solicitations!

With delays disrupting the surety of when we’d see the ending to The High Republic Adventures – Phase II, Dark Horse rallied the troops and set the final three issues to release all on the same day. This was quickly dubbed “The High Republic Adventures Day,” and rightfully so, and now said day is finally upon us! As far as endings go, these last three issues take the series long dominos and bring them crashing down in emotional and exciting fashion, all while adding a few more in there for good measure, letting both its characters and its readers experience important messages they can take with them and use in their lives ahead. Free Comic Book Day is always a joyous occasion and a fun reason to go out to your local comic shops and show them love and support, but 2023’s took on a whole new meaning for Star Wars fans, especially The High Republic fans, as a short coda story was released by Dark Horse! Summer is in the air, flowers are in full bloom, and you are probably just like me, trying to avoid allergies and get to your local comic shop to pick up the latest Star Wars comics! June 2023’s Star Wars comic solicitations foretell quite the month, from Anakin and Yoda going toe-to-toe with Megadroids (a name as Star Wars as it gets), the excellent Sana Starros miniseries takes its final bow, Aphra’s hanging out with Luke, Vader’s hanging out with….Aphra, and Luke is hanging out with…..a different doctor? Canon Comic Review: The High Republic Adventures #1 – Phase II

Of the many highlights from the first Phase of The High Republic initiative was the story Daniel José Older cooked up in his IDW comics series, The High Republic Adventures, which centered around Padawans and a smaller scaled story of their connections and struggles throughout the Drengir and Nihil conflicts. Older returns with The High Republic Adventures – Phase II via Dark Horse and the same pedigree is already present, this time introducing us to a younger incarnation of Phase I character Sav Malagán and her own struggles with being part of the Jedi Order. Energetic, engaging, and grounded in Sav’s character development, The High Republic Adventures #1 – Phase II seems to promise, despite the shorter run, something as memorable as the first. Star Wars Comics February 2023 Solicitations

Since I never celebrated Valentine’s Day outside of like grade school when we all had to, February hasn’t usually had anything big for me to concern myself with, but since it’s my wife’s birthday month, there’s always plenty to do now and love…just like all these Star Wars comics in February 2023’s solicitations! February signals the start of Sana Starros’ long overdue and much anticipated solo series, Qi’ra’s next big move plays out in Hidden Empire, the Battle of Jedha comes to High Republic comics, we’ll get to see Yoda and Dooku working together, Doctor Aphra makes her latest attempt to free herself of the Spark Eternal, and so much more!
