Final The Bad Batch Season Two Trailer Arrives

With less than a month until its premiere, season two of The Bad Batch got its final trailer. While it contains quite a few things we’ve seen in Celebration Anaheim trailer (more Gungi is never a bad thing!!), it offers some new scenes with Commander Cody, Crosshair, Bail Organa, new characters, and hints at many of the adventures the team will go on in its second season, though it makes it clear not even a slight delay lead to them even considering fixing the whitewashing concerns fans have been so vocal about. The 16-episode season premieres with two episodes on January 4, 2023, and will close out on a two-part finale on March 29. Find the full episode title list, new poster, and some images below the cut!

Here’s the episode list and airdates, thanks to the press release and those who posted it on social media:

  • Jan. 4: Ep. 1 “Spoils of War” & Ep. 2 “Ruins of War”
  • Jan. 11: Ep. 3 “The Solitary Clone”
  • Jan. 18: Ep. 4 “Faster”
  • Jan. 25: Ep. 5 “Entombed”
  • Feb. 1: Ep. 6 “Tribe”
  • Feb. 8: Ep. 7 “The Clone Conspiracy” & Ep. 8 “Truth and Consequences”
  • Feb. 15: Ep. 9 “The Crossing”
  • Feb. 22: Ep. 10 “Retrieval”
  • Mar. 1: Ep. 11 “Metamorphosis”
  • Mar. 8: Ep. 12 “The Outpost”
  • Mar. 15: Ep. 13 “Pabu”
  • Mar. 22: Ep. 14 “Tipping Point”
  • Mar. 29: Ep. 15 “The Summit” & Ep. 16 “Plan 99”

I love a lot of two-parters, especially aired together, though it still means the final 6 episodes of the season overlap with The Mandalorian season three, which begins airing March 1. Going off the episode names, it almost sounds like we might not resolve the season one finale reveal of the Empire’s science experiments on Mount Tantiss on Weyland until the final two episodes of this season, as “The Summit” sure seems to hint at a mountain and “Plan 99” sounds like something creepy scientists on a remote mountain facility might be cooking up!
