April 2026 is all about the tie-ins, hey? And weirdly enough, none of them have to do with The Mandalorian and Grogu, the first Star Wars film since 2019, out in May. Well, there are variant covers referencing the film, at least? As for what there is to tie into, the prequel comic for Maul: Shadow Lord gets its second issue (days after the show premieres), Galaxy’s Edge‘s timeline change gets a new comic, and The Bad Batch‘s newest prequel comic slides a previous issue into this month. But have no fear, The High Republic is here as well! So head below to see April 2026’s Star Wars comics solicitations! Continue reading “Star Wars Comics April 2026 Solicitations”

Star Wars Comics March 2026 Solicitations
March 2026’s Star Wars Comics are as slim as they get and we can’t even guarantee some given how many delays Dark Horse has these days. If all holds, Dark Horse has more High Republic stories for us, taking us back to the Phase II era, General Grievous gets a spooky OGN, and the Bad Batch are on their latest mission. As for Marvel, remove the ‘rvel’ and add a ‘u’ and, you guessed it, they have Maul’s latest comic series. No slouches, just not a lot to pick up. Head below for the details! Comic News: Maul – Shadow Lord Prequel Comic Launches March 2026
A tie-in being allowed in this economy?! And it’s something Dave Filoni is involved in?! I’m going to need a minute to recover. Writer Benjamin Percy and artist Madibek Musabekov are set to explore the seedy world of Janix in Shadow of Maul, a prequel to the upcoming animated series, Maul: Shadow Lord. Out March 2026, the 5-issue miniseries will introduce to the world and cast of the upcoming show. Are we placing bets on when this arrives relative to the show’s release? Before, overlaps, or after? Get your bets ready and head below for more details, interior previews, and covers. Continue reading “Comic News: Maul – Shadow Lord Prequel Comic Launches March 2026”
Star Wars Comics February 2026 Solicitations
For Valentine’s Day 2026, I think I have my poem for Marvel’s Star Wars team all set and ready: “Roses are red, violets are blue, why aren’t you letting these stories grow and build and continue?” Because due to their penchant to worry more about sales and trying to gum those up with #1 relaunches over fan loyalty and interest in a story, the February 2026 Star Wars comics solicitations are as sparse as they get, as while Dark Horse has many delays so it’s often hard to pin down when something’s coming out but at least it does, Marvel only has two for the first time in…well as far back as I can remember…and neither will continue into March. But will Marvel have anything for March? It’s a question without an answer at the moment, so let’s just enjoy some Jar-Jar and more Bad Batch solicitations for February 2026, okay? 2026 Black History Month Variant by Taurin Clarke Revealed
The cultural commemorative month covers for 2026 have begun and it all starts with Black History in February, as first revealed by Star Wars Splash Page! We’ll dig into some context below, but there are only two covers this year, yet it’s a lovely connecting variant featuring characters from The High Republic, video games, other comics, TV shows, and the films drawn by artist Taurin Clarke, whose variants have often been some of my most desired in the past, especially for Doctor Aphra! Come bask in the wonderful cover, and hear some of the context, below. Continue reading “2026 Black History Month Variant by Taurin Clarke Revealed”
Star Wars Comics January 2026 Solicitations
Another year goes by and another one begins, one usually filled with a bunch of fun and interesting Star Wars Comics, but 2026 isn’t looking so bright. On Marvel’s end, there are only three to enjoy, and (maybe) two of those are finales, while for Dark Horse, as long as there are no delays, there are two issues to read and one is a finale. Look, I wanted a bit less after the overload of crossovers for the last five years, but guess I need to be careful what I wish for. Head below to see what’s coming in Star Wars comics’ January 2026 solicitations. Continue reading “Star Wars Comics January 2026 Solicitations”

Star Wars Comics December 2025 Solicitations
Hopefully by December 2025 we’ll still have free speech and not be totally overrun by the fascists, but I can confirm we’ll have more intriguing Star Wars Comics to look forward to…that’s nice, at least? So come on down for our look at the last solicitations for 2025, where we can expect everything from Kylo Ren putting on Darth Vader’s helmet, the Jedi Knights series concludes its big story about Qui-Gon Jinn’s would-be assassin, the Bad Batch comes back for more comic trouble, Alyssa Wong returns to finish off Boba Fett’s new miniseries, and more in December 2025’s Star Wars comic solicitations! What’s not below however is any new Doctor Aphra: Chaos Agent solicits, but we’ll discuss that as well.

Star Wars Comics November 2025 Solicitations
Last November at our annual Thanksgiving Day football game, I messed up my hamstring and got teased by my wife for like a week, something I’d gladly have instead of no new Doctor Aphra: Chaos Agent for November 2025’s Star Wars comics! Despite the good doctor’s absence (I’m not sensing anything nefarious and don’t let others mislead you it could be), there’s still some big moments to go with a big holiday meal (if you’re in a place which celebrates, but I don’t blame you for not being these days!), as we’ll learn a lot about Qui-Gon Jinn’s would-be assassin, Rey and Finn encounter a deadly spirit, Kylo Ren will explore the depths of his grandfather’s Mustafar castle, revolution comes to the New Republic’s problems, and more! Head below to see all of November 2025’s Star Wars Comics solicitations!
