The Bad Batch Panel: Final Season Out 2024, Fennec Shand Returns (SWCE 2023)

The Bad Batch panel was actually streaming on Celebration Live, so you can check out the whole thing, minus the exclusive trailer, after about like the first 5 minutes of the stream above. A lot of the panel was focused on Tech’s death, the themes of the season, the Zillo beast clone, and how beautiful the sushi looked. During it they announced a season three, though as I was guessing in my reviews, it’s also the show’s final season, coming out in 2024. The official site shared some details on the trailer only shown to fans, with Fennec Shan’s return shown, more big monsters, Palpatine on Tantiss, and even Commander Wolffe, among other things. Hopefully we’ll get to see some footage soon ourselves, but with it out in 2024, it might be awhile.

Publishing Panels Round Up: Dark Horse Has Jaxxon, High Republic Adventures Phase III, Lucasfilm Shows More FaCPOV – Return of the Jedi, Wookiee Reference Book, And More! (SWCA 2023)

Day Three of Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 had two different publishing focused panels, starting with a full one just for Dark Horse‘s contributions and later one for Lucasfilm Publishing‘s own works, though both were a little light on announcements. Dark Horse focused on Jaxxon, as their upcoming Annual stars the hare-brained scoundrel (and writer Cavan Scott promised there will be more), and some upcoming The High Republic Adventures teases for Phase II and Phase III. Lucasfilm Publishing spent time revealing new pages from upcoming reference titles, announcing a new one all about Wookiees (!!), and of course more The High Republic content as well. Head below for the sneak peaks! Final Gameplay Trailer for Jedi: Survivor, Out April 28 (SWCE ’23)

Jedi: Survivor keeps looking absolutely gorgeous every time we see new footage. I can’t wait to learn more about where the story for this will go, especially the potential High Republic Jedi, while the companion combat seems like such an awesome addition. While you wait for April 28, make sure to read Jedi: Battle Scars to find out some of what happened in the 5 year gap between games, and read an interview with game director Stig Asmussen for new screenshots. We hope to have a review up, probably in May, after playing the game!

Young Jedi Adventures Shorts Arrive on Star Wars Kids YouTube

The High Republic comes to life for the first time with three Young Jedi Adventures shorts, dropping on Star Wars Kids’ YouTube a month before the series’ April 26 May 4 start! They are adorable little bits of Jedi-starring goodness with great little messages of helping others, teamwork, and other aspects you’d want little ones to learn, making me wish I had these when I was younger but I’m glad a whole new generation of fans will have this to introduce them! Head below for the neat new poster and the other two shorts (the first one I provided above)! Continue reading “Young Jedi Adventures Shorts Arrive on Star Wars Kids YouTube”

Jedi: Survivor’s Story Trailer Hypes Up April 28 Release!

With almost a month to go until Jedi: Survivor’s new release date on April 28, Respawn Entertainment unveiled a story trailer which teases some cool new features, highlighted Merrin’s return, and confirmed the game’s The High Republic era connection. Between the excellent interquel novel Jedi: Battle Scars by Sam Maggs, which bridges the two games by fleshing out its characters and where they’re heading for Survivor, and this new trailer, I’m all aboard the hype train for the game (even if random animal murder still features heavily). Check out some new screenshots, the THR connection, and more below the cut! Continue reading “Jedi: Survivor’s Story Trailer Hypes Up April 28 Release!”
