Forces of Destiny Fight Gorax, Save Art, and Help Porgs in Second Half of Season Two

Forces of Destiny A Disarming Lesson 5

As a special Star Wars Day 2018 present, the second half of episodes from Forces of Destiny‘s second season have arrived (announced the day before). Since there are usually eight, and this time only seven dropped, the remaining episode might be hiding in the TV special airing May 25 aka the same day as that little indie movie Solo: A Star Wars Story hits our galaxy, so maybe there’s a Qi’ra and Han episode on the way? In the meantime, check out the newest episodes below, along with a few quick thoughts. Full review of the second season to follow the TV special. Forces of Destiny Traps and Tribulations 5

Take a break from shopping the best deals online, watching one of the movies/tv shows, or swinging lightsabers at one another this May the Fourth 2018, and hunker down for the best gift of all: new Star Wars! Forces of Destiny‘s second season airs 7 new episodes on 5/4/2018 over at Disney’s YouTube channel, with a TV special to air on the Disney Channel May 25! Normally the TV specials are the 16 episodes of a season in one half hour block with Maz Kanata narrating, but there’s still one episode unannounced for season 2 and a certain new film, Solo: A Star Wars Story, drops the same day, so maybe the unknown 8th episode will tie into the film somehow? While we wait to find out, check out the episode descriptions for the latest batch and some choice screenshots below! (UPDATE: The new episodes have arrived!) Forces of Destiny Premieres July 3 on YouTube

The female-focused 2D animated shorts, Forces of Destiny, finally have a premiere date! Starting July 3 at 12pm CST (10am PST), a new FoD short will appear each day on Disney’s YouTube channel until July 9, when they will be broadcasted on the Disney Channel together. Starring Rey, Ahsoka, Jyn, Leia, Sabine, Hera, and Padme, the 2-3 minutes shorts tell never-before-seen (canon, mind you!) tales about everyone’s favorite batch of heroines. Originally introduced in the middle of the night pre-Celebration Orlando (link includes details about story lines and merchandise previews I saw on the SWCO ’17 show floor), a panel at the convention included a surprise appearance by Daisy Ridley and a screening of one of the shorts (BB-8 Bandits, which the clip at the start of the above video is from) and I have a review of it here. Make sure to tune in to either YouTube or the Disney Channel to check out this initial batch of 8 shorts (with 8 more to come at a later date) to see exciting new tales about your favorite characters, brought to life by (most of) their original actresses, and we’ll have reviews and impressions on the site once they air!
