Star Wars Comics February 2026 Solicitations

For Valentine’s Day 2026, I think I have my poem for Marvel’s Star Wars team all set and ready: “Roses are red, violets are blue, why aren’t you letting these stories grow and build and continue?” Because due to their penchant to worry more about sales and trying to gum those up with #1 relaunches over fan loyalty and interest in a story, the February 2026 Star Wars comics solicitations are as sparse as they get, as while Dark Horse has many delays so it’s often hard to pin down when something’s coming out but at least it does, Marvel only has two for the first time in…well as far back as I can remember…and neither will continue into March. But will Marvel have anything for March? It’s a question without an answer at the moment, so let’s just enjoy some Jar-Jar and more Bad Batch solicitations for February 2026, okay?

Since there are only two comics out in February, the Black History Month variant covers are limited, though Taurin Clarke makes the best of it by making a connected variant! You can check out the cover here, and get a bonus helping of my concerns about there being nothing in March from Marvel so no Women’s History Month covers in 2026. Given the only non-marginalized writer’s series got cancelled the earliest in 2025, it wouldn’t really be any surprise.

MARVEL

JAR JAR RETURNS — CO-WRITTEN BY JAR JAR HIMSELF, AHMED BEST!

  • JAR JAR faces the consequences of giving emergency powers to CHANCELLOR PALPATINE.
  • What pivotal role does Jar Jar play in the formation of the REBEL ALLIANCE?
  • Guest-starring fan-favorite JEDI KNIGHT KELLERAN BEQ!

I mean, my response to this hasn’t changed since its reveal at NYCC ’25 and really, the solicit tells you all you really need to know! Ahmed Best?! Jar Jar being important to the Alliance?! And Kelleran Beq, making for a meta-filled-Best-sandwich?! Sign me up!

Star Wars #10 {2025} (on sale 2/18)

Alex Segura (Writer), Luke Ross (Artist)
Cover by Phil Noto | Action Figure Variant Cover by John Tyler Christopher | Black History Month Connecting Variant Cover by Taurin Clarke

THE FINAL CONFRONTATION!

  • As the fate of the FENRIL SECTOR — and THE GALAXY! — hangs in the balance, LUKE SKYWALKER, HAN SOLO, RYNN ZENAT and the NAGAI must face off REYNA OSKURE and her twisted followers!
  • Will Oskure’s deadly powers destroy one of the heroes forever?
  • THE NEW REPUBLIC forces stand on the brink of war — will the brief peace be lost forever?

Once this releases, I’ll have a review of issues #6-10 on the Manor shortly after, though I will say it’s been rushing by way too fast in its second half already so I’m not sure how well this finale will land. Will Star Wars (2025) continue past February? Marvel doesn’t inform anyone, besides maybe the creatives involved but in an NDA fashion, if they are cancelling a series or not, but given every single series that launched in 2025 has ended, with Aphra’s being WAY earlier than expected or necessary, I suspect this is also over. UPDATE: Alex Segura has confirmed it’s the last issue from him and Phil Noto, at the very least. As got discussed again, this time on Bluesky, the whole way Marvel’s doing this now, only really greenlighting 10 issues at a time and saying at issue #5 if you get more, or letting less-than-stellar sales across the board make them cancel things early, is just NOT the way. I’ll unpack this more in my upcoming comics year-in-review article, but for now, do you dear reader enjoy these quick stories or miss the time when we got longer, more developed series and characters? I suspect I’m not alone on the answer for this: I miss it very, very much.

DARK HORSE

Hyperspace Stories: The Bad Batch – Rogue Agents #3 (on sale 2/25)

Michael Moreci (Writer), Reese Hannigan (Artists)
Cover by Valeria Favoccia

The race is on to find the missing Separatist scientist and his doomsday device! But with their newfound adversary in the lead, the Bad Batch must turn to an old friend for help, finding themselves involved in an underworld shootout as a result! With friends like these, who needs enemies?

  • The team that brought you the hit comics mini-series Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories: The Bad Batch—Ghost Agents returns with this thrilling follow-up series!

[NOW COMING OUT IN MARCH 2026] Just like the first series, no review from me until this is all out (though if you want to cover the series, visit our Submissions page to reach out!). But Separatist scientists and doomsday devices? I’m ready for more Batch-ing fun. As I said before, it would be neat that if these two do well enough if they’ll eventually start covering some of the storylines originally pitched for the Bad Batch in The Clone Wars show, like their time on Kashyyyk?! The fact we’re getting a second series for them does make it seem like the odds are in their favor for more.
