Star Wars Comics July 2026 Solicitations

To think, we’re out to July for Star Wars comics in 2026 and it’s only tie-ins from Marvel we’ve known about for a while and thankfully (as long as it’s not delayed) more High Republic from Dark Horse. But it still remains some of the sparsest releases in the past decade, but at least there are still comics being released? Or something silver-lining-ish to make that sound good? Head below for Star Wars comics’ July 2026 solicitations now.

MARVEL

Rogue One – Saw Gerrera #1 (on sale 7/1)

Marc Bernardin (Writer), Gabriel Guzman (Artist)
Cover by David Marquez | Variant Cover by Ben Harvey | Photo Variant Also Available

WITNESS THE ACT OF REVOLUTION THAT WAS TOO MUCH FOR THE REBELLION!

After proving himself in the Clone Wars, Saw Gerrera was a soldier for the cause of freedom and was willing to do anything to secure it — including leading a mission deep into Imperial territory. At stake: a source of information that would provide a tactical advantage that could shift the balance of power in the Rebels’ favor! But is the price to be paid for that information too high?

Seeing what tipped the scale too far for the Rebellion to consider Saw Gerrera one of their own, and his justifications for whatever is he does, is quite the story for a one-shot cover to cover! While this whole Rogue One prequel comic idea sounds fun, this is its most intriguing yet.

Shadow of Maul #5 (on sale 7/8)

Benjamin Percy (Writer), Madibek Musabekov (Artist)
Cover by Derrick Chow | Headshot Variant Cover by AKA | Photo Variant Also Available

DANGER LURKS EVER CLOSER ON JANIX!

  • CAPTAIN LAWSON and TWO-BOOTS unravel the treachery inside their department!
  • What will happen if they collide with MAUL as he launches his campaign of terror?
  • Will JANIX fall to the darkness of corruption and crime?

One thing I’ve felt has been missing from Maul: Shadow Lord is how the defense force where Captain Lawson works is just too clean for its own good. The comic started with some shady dealings and it looks to be focusing on that idea through its run. Lawson stopping it would sort of help the show, but we all know more people are watching than reading so giving the show’s cop some nuance is a missed opportunity.

Galaxy’s Edge: Echoes of the Empire #4 (on sale 7/15)

Ethan Sacks (Writer), Jethro Morales and Roi Mercado (Artists)
Cover by Phil Noto | Han Solo Variant Cover by Leinil Francis Yu | Variant Cover by Giuseppe Camuncoli

HAN SOL0 & CHEWIE IN THE CROSSHAIRS!

Returning to BATUU to help deliver the relic that PRINCESS LEIA escaped with years earlier, HAN SOLO and his faithful co-pilot CHEWIE find themselves betrayed by HONDO OHNAKA and stalked by the fearsome bounty hunter HARKOS! The new story behind the Disney Parks attraction land its shocking climax courtesy of writer Ethan Sacks and artists Jethro Morales and Roi Mercado.

This series just launched the Wednesday before this published, but I haven’t had time to check out the issue (and we don’t have a review until this is done anyways…unless you want to join the Manor!). Ethan Sacks shared some fun little prop behind-the-scenes shenanigans with his two Galaxy’s Edge tie-ins, so check that out for a delightful surprise or two. And then take a gander at the first looks at Han Solo and Princess Leia arriving at Disneyland’s park to change up its scenery, and of course Darth Vader is on his way too.

DARK HORSE

DARK HORSE

The High Republic Adventures – Pathfinders #3 (on sale 7/8)

George Mann (Writer), Partha Pratim/Jagdish Kumar (Artists)
Cover by Jake Bartok

The Pathfinder team traces the origins of a wrecked EX droid to the frozen planet Bathoris. There, they discover an isolated Comms team has been mysteriously murdered! Can the Pathfinders sift through the suspects in time? To uncover the truth, they might just need some help from another fan-favorite High Republic hero!

  • Return to the High Republic! Set 20 years after the end of Phase II, when Republic Pathfinders explored the furthest, and most dangerous, reaches of the galaxy!
  • Six-issue series.

{Originally solicited for June} As of this post publishing, we’re less than a week away from the first issue of The High Republic Adventures – Pathfinders! The previews are in and a Jedi we’ve met before looks to be the first casualty of the story…hopefully there isn’t more! But I’m just really damn glad the High Republic era is back and I look forward to seeing how Phase More will sort of work with this inaugural issue of the new lease on the era’s storytelling. When and what will be announced next?!
