Star Wars Comics June 2026 Solicitations

It’s the first year since 2019 that we’ll officially be in a post-Star Wars movie release situation, while also the animated show Maul: Shadow Lord will be over too. It’s up to publishing to fill in the gaps and June 2026’s Star Wars comic solicitations are trying their best to be up to the task, though they are less abundant and varied than the past few years. Head below for details on more High Republic fun from Dark Horse, more Maul from Marvel, and some Galaxy’s Edge and Rogue One tie-ins to boot. Also, first hints on Marvel’s Pride Month variants!!

We’ll update this once it’s released, but much like February’s Black History Month Variant covers for 2026, June’s Pride Month Variants for 2026 will be a connecting variant cover, provided by Rickie Yagawa. Will it feature characters never seen before on it? Tried and true favorites? Will it be Doctor Aphra’s one and only appearance in comics this year, which would be a damn shame (her comics appearance birthday is March 25, so still holding out hope for some announcement)??? We’ll be sure to update a link once it’s available!

MARVEL

Rogue One – Jyn Erso #1 (on sale 6/3)

Ethan Sacks (Writer), Ramon Rosanas (Artist)
Cover by David Marquez | Variant Cover by Ramon Rosanas | Pride Connecting Variant Cover by Rickie Yagawa | Photo Variant Also Available

A PRISONER OF THE EMPIRE. A CHANCE AT HOPE.

On the toxic Wobani fields, Jyn Erso’s brutal routine shatters when an unlikely crew begs the infamous slicer “Liana Hallik” to help pull off an impossible escape. Can Jyn outwit Imperial security droids, tower cannons, and incinerators long enough to crack the code—and keep a frightened young prisoner alive? Will a leap of faith heal old scars from Galen, Lyra, and Saw… or will Wobani claim Jyn’s future before the Rebellion ever can?

While the good prequel novel Rebel Rising included part of Jyn’s stay on Wobani, I’ll be interested to see what this can add to that experience. This whole series of Rogue One tie-ins are smushing into the most surprising of times for their stories, so as always, best of luck to the creative team in their endeavors! Speaking of, it seems like Ethan Sacks will have the first and the last Star Wars comic out in June…

Shadow of Maul #4 (on sale 6/10)

Benjamin Percy (Writer), Madibek Musabekov (Artist)

BLOOD GAMBLE!

  • The STAR GAUNTLET – a deadly podrace that takes place in the streets of JANIX – draws thousands of spectators and gamblers from all over the galaxy.
  • Fortunes are won and lost…and so are lives!
  • In the midst of all this chaos, LAWSON uncovers a gambling conspiracy and casino heist that puts him on an unavoidable collision course with MAUL himself!

Shadow of Maul is already off to a moody start in its first issue with some intrigue in store for Captain Lawson. And hot on the heels of the first issue was the final trailer for Maul: Shadow Lord, a spooky, almost haunting look at what’s to come on the show. And while the show will be long done by the time this issue comes out, I’m not even going to be worried about it because….MORE PODRACING?! In the year of Maul 2026? Between this and the upcoming Galactic Racer, podracing is finally taking off like it should’ve all those years ago.

Galaxy’s Edge: Echoes of the Empire #3 (on sale 6/24)

Ethan Sacks (Writer), Jethro Morales and Roi Mercado (Artists)
Cover by Phil Noto | Character Spotlight Variant by Leinil Francis Yu | Variant Cover by Walt Simonson | Pride Connecting Variant Cover by Rickie Yagawa

INVASION OF BATUU!

  • DARTH VADER takes on a DROID fighting force!
  • But will the epic battle give LUKE, LEIA, CHEWIE, C-3PO and R2-D2 a chance to escape the IMPERIALS?
  • Meanwhile, OGA makes her move against the syndicate running BLACK SPIRE OUTPOST.

…That’s right, Sacks has the third entry into his Galaxy’s Edge, Disneyland edition, tie-in story out too! GamesRadar+ hosted the first preview images of issue #1, while he took to Bluesky to tease an 11-page battle between Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett!!! If anyone can make this whole story change for the park into a worthwhile and entertaining comic, it’s going to be Sacks. Also, like most miniseries these days, I won’t have a review until it all wraps up, but if you’re so inclined to review each entry, don’t be shy and reach out!

DARK HORSE

The High Republic Adventures – Pathfinders #3 (on sale 6/17)

George Mann (Writer), Partha Pratim/Jagdish Kumar (Artists)
Cover by Jake Bartok

The Pathfinder team traces the origins of a wrecked EX droid to the frozen planet Bathoris. There, they discover an isolated Comms team has been mysteriously murdered! Can the Pathfinders sift through the suspects in time? To uncover the truth, they might just need some help from another fan-favorite High Republic hero!

  • Return to the High Republic! Set 20 years after the end of Phase II, when Republic Pathfinders explored the furthest, and most dangerous, reaches of the galaxy!
  • Six-issue series.

As of this post publishing, we’re less than a week away from the first issue of The High Republic Adventures – Pathfinders! The previews are in and a Jedi we’ve met before looks to be the first casualty of the story…hopefully there isn’t more! But I’m just really damn glad the High Republic era is back and I look forward to seeing how Phase More will sort of work with this inaugural issue of the new lease on the era’s storytelling. When and what will be announced next?!
