Doctor Aphra returned earlier this year with a brand new creative team to start the latest volume, but the pandemic caused quite the gulf between the initial launch of the issue (with an early May the 4th digital release!) and the rest of the opening arc, “Fortune and Fate.” Once comic releases returned, the following issues made the wait way more than worth it, as writer Alyssa Wong, with artist Marika Cresta and colorist Rachelle Rosenberg (a series staple), proved more than fit to bring the latest chaotic adventures of everyone’s favorite rogue archaeologist to life! The idea of 2021 finally being here has likely been the wish of many people, and while it won’t completely turn around everything that’s transpired in 2020, it’s a beacon of hope that maybe things can start to get better. Star Wars Comics December 2020 Solicitations

December might usually be cold depending on where you live, like here in Wisconsin for me, but it’s usually full of cheer as the holidays are here. Things might be a little different this year, unfortunately, but you can at least count on some great tales in the galaxy far, far away thanks to Star Wars comics! November is usually a time for large gatherings of family and friends from all over the country for Thanksgiving traditions here in the States, but it’s still an unknown if that’ll even be possible this year. Despite the pandemic, one of the most important elections in this country’s history will take place, so make sure you’re registered and make your voice heard. October feels so far away, but I’m very anxious for it to come as not only does The Mandalorian’s second season arrive, Star Wars Squadrons will be out, and it’s my birthday month, but I’m getting married (finger’s crossed we don’t have to postpone we did, unfortunately)!
