It’s weird to think, last September saw the end of the previous era of comic stories come to an end, and now in 2025, we’re not only seeing several new series begin, we’re already enjoying stories from the new era. What a difference one year can make! August represents one of the last few months of summer weather here in the States, but for Star Wars comics it represents a sad finality as well: no more The High Republic related comics?! Since 2020, ahead of the era’s launch in January 2021, the solicitations have pretty much always had some High Republic title, but by August 2025…the current storytelling in the era is over.
