Comic News: Rogue One 10th Anniversary Comics, Marvel’s Sole 2026 Women’s History Month Variant Unveiled

It doesn’t seem possible that we’re already at the 10th Anniversary of Rogue One‘s release, but maybe it’s because we just finished Andor last year? Or I don’t want to admit the passage of time? Either way, Marvel isn’t letting us forget it’s time to celebrate, as they have put together a series of one-shots focusing on key characters, like Cassian Andor, Jyn Erso, and even Chirrut & Baze, which kicks off this May! In other Marvel news, we have our first glimpse at the one and only Women’s History Month variant cover for 2026, done by a new to Star Wars artist, Elena Casagrande! Coincidence the upcoming Rogue One comics only has one marginalized creative? Yes, but not a surprise when it comes to comics. Comic News: Doctor Aphra Returns for New Republic Hijinks, Kit Fisto Miniseries Announced

It should be no surprise to Manor visitors that I’m a giant Doctor Aphra fan, to the point she’s my favorite character. Since her superb, emotional, and memorable second series by writer Alyssa Wong, beyond a cameo appearance and flashback stories since it ended, fans have been waiting (and I’ve been theorizing like crazy) to learn when the rogue archaeologist would return. The wait is over, as she’s back this June with Marvel, fitting considering it’s Pride Month, with a new writer/artist team!
