While Jedi Knights #4 takes the series from big kaiju last issue to a small heist in this one, Qui-Gon Jinn and Shaak Ti uncover it’s a much larger web than it first seems in a twisty story which will keep you guessing until the end! Continue reading “Canon Comic Review: Jedi Knights #4”
August represents one of the last few months of summer weather here in the States, but for Star Wars comics it represents a sad finality as well: no more The High Republic related comics?! Since 2020, ahead of the era’s launch in January 2021, the solicitations have pretty much always had some High Republic title, but by August 2025…the current storytelling in the era is over. But fear not, there are plenty of good things from Dark Horse and Marvel still, like Kylo Ren facing an Order 66 survivor, Doctor Aphra and Han Solo forced to work together, Poe Dameron & BB-8 have to escape in style from the First Order, and much more, so head below for August 2025’s Star Wars comics solicitations! It’s time for July’s 2025 Star Wars comics solicitations! As for what you can expect: for starters, just when you thought The High Republic was over, they pull you right back in for one more month, though one issue is due to a delay and another newly announced, but then for sure, for sure, this part of its storytelling should be over; Yaddle takes the stage in Jedi Knights; Kylo goes after an Order 66 survivor, the Bad Batch must survive Aurra Sing with the fate of the Clone Wars on the line; Kit Fisto is front and center in a new series; Chelli Aphra and Luke Skywalker might be dealing with quite the interesting society; and so much more! I was already conflicted over my feelings for June 2025’s Star Wars comics, but I’m even more so after the big news: Doctor Aphra returns in her next series!! I’m beyond hyped to have her particular brand of chaos back and love she’s launching during Pride Month, but June also contains the big finale to the entire The High Republic initiative (for now), which I’m both excited for and concerned as hell for! Yay more Aphra, sad the High Republic is closing! Conflicted, for sure. Whether you are or not, head below to see June 2025’s Star Wars comics solicitations!

The world might be in disarray, but damn it if Star Wars Day aka May the Fourth won’t try its best to cheer us all up a little bit, hopefully! And when the day and deals are done, all our retail therapy completed, there’s still plenty of Star Wars comics to enjoy as well, like the start of Star Wars (2025), a kaiju special in Jedi Knights, Kylo Ren visiting Naboo, and the Battle of Eraidu reaching its epic ending(truly this time)! Check out May 2025’s Star Wars Comics Solicitations below, which includes my theorizing rabbit hole about a new Doctor Aphra series!
I could open this up with a variation on the joke about ‘April showers’ but I feel like I’ve done it before and done it dirty already, so no need to put you, or me, through that again. But I can say April 2025’s Star Wars comics aren’t full of bad jokes, rather intriguing moments like the canonization of a cancelled action figure, the big finale to the Battle of Eriadu, a new adventure for Poe Dameron and BB-8, and Kylo Ren being Gradulla the Hutt’s prisoner, among other things! So you know, quite the showering of weird comic moments (had to make a joke there somewhere)! Check out April 2025’s Star Wars comics solicitations below.
