After detouring to follow Yoda’s antics, The Edge of Balance manga series returns to the main story for its fourth and final main volume as all threads converge on Banchii and its last stand against the Nihil. Thanks to a story by Daniel José Older and Shima Shinya and illustrations by Mizuki Sakakibara, The Edge of Balance Vol. 4 ends the series on a worthy high note. Shima Shinya, this time with Daniel José Older, and Mizuki Sakakibara return to further expand the adventures of Lily Tora-Asi and the Jedi Temple on Banchii in The Edge of Balance Vol. 2, published by Viz Media LLC. With the temple fresh off the recent Drengir attack, it finds itself struggling to prepare for any further fights, and in the process gets caught up in the era’s bigger events, robbing some of the magic which made the first volume special, but it still remains an unique and intriguing viewpoint into the era. With a story by Shima Shinya and Justina Ireland, and art by Mizuki Sakakibara, The Edge of Balance Vol. 1 stars Lily Tora-Asi, a Jedi Knight helping relocate citizens affected by the Great Hyperspace Disaster to the remote planet of Banchii, and while she still works on her path as a Jedi, a menace tests Lily and friends like never before.
