Last November at our annual Thanksgiving Day football game, I messed up my hamstring and got teased by my wife for like a week, something I’d gladly have instead of no new Doctor Aphra: Chaos Agent for November 2025’s Star Wars comics! Despite the good doctor’s absence (I’m not sensing anything nefarious and don’t let others mislead you it could be), there’s still some big moments to go with a big holiday meal (if you’re in a place which celebrates, but I don’t blame you for not being these days!), as we’ll learn a lot about Qui-Gon Jinn’s would-be assassin, Rey and Finn encounter a deadly spirit, Kylo Ren will explore the depths of his grandfather’s Mustafar castle, revolution comes to the New Republic’s problems, and more! Head below to see all of November 2025’s Star Wars Comics solicitations!

Lucasfilm’s Publishing Panel at SDCC 2025 contained plenty of previews of upcoming releases and a few announcements, while they focused a good portion on looking back on The High Republic. Head below to see looks at The Art of Star Wars: The High Republic: Volume II, Tales from the Nightlands, and announcements like another Bad Batch comic, The Mandalorian Visual Guide, and more! While I can’t guarantee much these days, I can guarantee October means another birthday for me! It’s also where the spooky and comfortable fall season really kicks into high gear, so it’s usually a win-win all around. And thankfully, Star Wars comics usually pull through for me as well and 2025 looks to be no different. We’ve got Han, Luke, and Valance in clone trooper armor (what?!), Kelleran Beq makes his first big comics splash, we learn the identity of whomever was able to help out-slice Doctor Aphra, Luke and Leia face off against the Nightlander, and more! Head below for October 2025’s Star Wars comics solicitations! Continue reading “Star Wars Comics October 2025 Solicitations” →
It’s weird to think, last September saw the end of the previous era of comic stories come to an end, and now in 2025, we’re not only seeing several new series begin, we’re already enjoying stories from the new era. What a difference one year can make! For September 2025’s Star Wars comics solicitations, both Boba Fett and Han Solo are going hunting but for far different targets, Doctor Aphra finds herself caught between a Wookiee fight, a Star Wars boogeyman is born in the Nightlands of Ryloth, battle droids are still clomping around post-Return of the Jedi, and so much more! Head below for the full solicits!

The next entry in the (nearly) annual comic fright fest from Cavan Scott and an all-star cast of creatives was announced for 2025: Tales from the Nightlands, a three-issue series covering three different eras dealing with Ryloth’s boogeyman, the Nightlander! And while it’s yet to get an official reveal, we’ll update this once it does as we’ll likely finally get a cover, October 2025 will feature the release of a new young adult novel, set after The Rise of Skywalker (!) starring Finn and Jannah (!!): The Last Order by Kwame Mbalia (UPDATE Cover and new notes from Mbalia added!). Additional details for both below! Continue reading “Publishing News: Tales from the Nightlands Comic, Finn & Jannah Novel The Last Order Announced! (UPDATED)” →
