You know what’s spooky….all the tie-ins and adaptations clogging up the comics in October! Marvel does finally unload the final two issues of their Rogue One tie-ins that ends with Vader doing frightening Vader things, plus they’re offering new and scary threats for Kylo Ren to face, while Dark Horse has a unsettling sounding finale to its The High Republic Adventures – Pathfinders miniseries, so even the content inside the comics has some festive fall frights to enjoy. The Publishing arm of the Star Wars franchise had three panels on Friday at SDCC 2026, so we gathered all the news and details into one place! The biggest announcement was Beth Revis’ April 2027 novel, Star Wars: Twin Crossroads, which will cover Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa training together as Jedi, while new entrant in the all-ages section of comics Mad Cave Studios and their Papercutz imprint offered up X-Wing Academy, which takes place in the New Republic era!
