The Book of Boba Fett Season One Finale Review: “Chapter 7 – In the Name of Honor”

Boba-Book-7-Finale-Name-of-Honor-Review

– Spoiler Review –

While it says “Spoiler Review” above, if you’ve been waiting for the show to finally deliver on all its set-up before the mostly two episode detour, The Book of Boba Fett’s Season (maybe series) Finale “Chapter 7 – In the Name of Honor” comes with little surprise, but it offers a fun, action-packed ending for the main story, though those detours rob the finale of any true gravitas. The Book of Boba Fett Season One Review: “Chapter 6 – From the Desert Comes a Stranger”

– Spoiler Review –

The Mandalorian…I mean The Book of Boba Fett’s penultimate episode, “Chapter 6 – From the Desert Comes a Stranger” finally finds its way back to the main narrative, though while it has some stellar moments carrying on Din Djarin’s story as well, they come at the expense of this show. The Book of Boba Fett Season One Review: “Chapter 5 – Return of the Mandalorian”

Book-of-Boba-Fett-Return-The-Mandalorian-Review

– Spoiler Review –

It’s hard not to spoil the latest The Book of Boba Fett, as it’s all sort of there in the title, isn’t it? “Chapter 5 – Return of the Mandalorian” takes us into a different world, leaving me to argue its title means The Mandalorian not the Mandalorian, but once one makes peace with that, director Bryce Dallas Howard takes viewers on a joyous ride of an episode. The Book of Boba Fett Season One Review: “Chapter 4 – The Gathering Storm”

– Spoiler Review –

With The Book of Boba Fett’s “Chapter 4 – The Gathering Storm,” it riles up ingredients that bring the show back to form a bit after last week, finally exposing the bond formed between Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) and Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison), while hinting at what’s to come in the war for Tatooine. – Spoiler Review –

After a stellar second chapter, The Book of Boba Fett stumbles a bit in “Chapter 3 – The Streets of Mos Espa,” as while the present-day storyline provides even more glimpses at the larger story and some fun moments, the past suffers from a lazy, but expected development. The Book of Boba Fett Series Premiere Review: “Stranger in a Strange Land”

Book of Boba Fett Ep 1 Review Mynock Manor

– Spoiler Review –

After a year since its surprise announcement at the end of The Mandalorian’s second season, The Book of Boba Fett, starring Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen, has arrived. The season one premiere, “Stranger in a Strange Land,” really feels like the opening chapter of a book, exploring the early moments of his sarlacc escape and reign as Lord Fett on Tatooine. The Book of Boba Fett TV Spots, Character Posters

Now we’re officially one month away from the start of The Book of Boba Fett, starring Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett and Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand, some new TV spots have dropped, as well as character posters and the news it’ll only last for 7 episodes. That means it’ll run from December 29 until February 9, 2022. Both spots feature a smidgen of new footage but contain the declaration of “I am Boba Fett,” which I guess could be a reference to his first appearance in The Holiday Special but sounds kind of cheesy regardless, which might be exactly what this show needs. Head below for the posters and other TV spot, otherwise be sure to check into the Manor for our weekly reviews starting December 29! First The Book of Boba Fett Trailer Arrives!

Boba Fett, the unifier of the underworld, the ruler of respect, the new owner of Jabba’s Palace; I can’t be the only one thinking Boba’s going to have as many titles as Queen Daenerys from Game of Thrones by the end of The Book of Boba Fett, right?! All kidding aside, November 1 saw the release of The Book of Boba Fett‘s first trailer, a short look at the underworld Boba (Temuera Morrison) and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) will confront in hopes of uniting it under his rule, though why he feels he’s the right man for the job, after 5 years in the desert on a soul-searching sojourn, remains to be seen. It’s a promising trailer, with plenty of alien characters as I hoped, and tons of glowering from Shand, so count me intrigued for when the show starts December 29, 2021. Head below for the key art and some stills from the trailer, but otherwise make sure to return to the Manor for the reviews once the show begins! The Book of Boba Fett Premieres December 29!

Alongside a new, but not very notable poster, The Book of Boba Fett’s release date has finally been confirmed: December 29! I’d expect more details and a trailer at the upcoming Disney+ Day on November 12, otherwise this date announcement includes a brief snippet confirming much what we already know regarding the show’s plot: Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) are staking, “… their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.” Head below for the full poster, which is basically the end-credits scene of Boba sitting on the throne with Shand next to him, otherwise check back to the Manor when more details arise, which like I said will probably be November 12!
