First, The High Republic Show’s January 4, 2022 livesteam, airing 12:00pm CST, is titled The High Republic Anniversary Special, hosted as always by Krystina Arielle, with appearances from Claudia Gray, Justina Ireland, Daniel José Older, Cavan Scott, and Charles Soule, “…as well as special guests, new reveals, and the first intel on Phase II.” I’m anxious about what will happen at the end of Phase I but I’m chomping at the hydrospanner for Phase II details! Elswhere, Midnight Horizon, Older’s YA novel out February 1, 2022, had its first excerpt, finding Ram Jamoram at an emotional void I hope he can get through! And lastly, we have to remind fans about the on-going turmoil over Star Wars Eclipse, with stellar articles from both Dork Side of the Force and io9 regarding the movement against it, which got the hashtag “BlackoutStarWarsEclipse” trending on Twitter Friday.
