Legendary Adventures: Legacy of the Force – Bloodlines

Personal and galactic stakes mount as the Corellian conflict with the Galactic Alliance grows…can the Solo family help keep the galaxy together when they can’t even keep their own family together? Join us as we continue the Legendary Adventures in the Legacy of the Force series with Bloodlines!

Almost forty years before the fall of the Empire, a man called Darth Tyrannus contacted a bounty hunter by the name of Jango Fett. Tyrannus hoped to use Jango Fett’s DNA as the basis of a clone army, developed ostensibly as the fighting force of the existing Republic, but secretly to be used as the backbone of the master plan ushering in the return of the Sith Order. Jango had one request before he would share his DNA: an unaltered clone, one he could call his son. This son, Boba Fett, was one of the few clones created without any sort of accelerated aging. The other clones were bred to age quicker in order to be able to fight in a war sooner. Boba would soon become one of the most notorious bounty hunters in the galaxy, working for the likes of Darth Vader and against the likes of Han Solo.

But now Boba Fett has a problem: his clone DNA is suffering and falling apart. A doctor examines him to find his genetic makeup has given him only a single year left to live. He searches the galaxy for answers, but first, he must track down his daughter. Another Mandalorian warrior brings him news his daughter is active again, and may be working against the Solos. He teams up with a Mandalorian named Mirta Gev who offers Boba help in finding his daughter.

On a galactic scale, the growing tensions between Corellia and the Galactic Alliance are threatening galactic peace as a whole. Corellia, fighting for a sort of autonomy apart from the Alliance, is now rallying other planets and systems to its cause, hoping to bring them to bear against the growing Alliance. Chief of State Cal Omas urges against escalating the conflict against the Corellians, which is seen by some, especially Jacen Solo, as the means by which the dissenting group is rising in power. Han Solo and Leia Organa-Solo get involved in Corellia, hoping to diffuse the political situation before it erupts into all-out war. Unfortunately, Thracken Sal-Solo, Han’s cousin, still wants to gain power, activate Centerpoint Station, and even works to assassinate Han and Leia, and the Solo family, by hiring bounty hunter Ailyn Vel.

Unfortunately, not everyone is actually working towards the good of the galaxy in the right ways. Jacen Solo believes the Alliance is working too softly against Corellia, and he alone has the answers to solve the galaxy’s problems. His biggest tool? First, the dark side. Thanks to the influence of Vergere, the Jedi-turned-Sith Lord, Jacen believes there is no true dark and light side of the Force, only different aspects and faces of it. He believes using the power is fine, as long as it serves the right purposes. He also takes control of the Galactic Alliance Guard, and even has a strong influence in the military. Admiral Pallaeon steps down from his position, letting Admiral Niathal, a Mon Cal sympathetic to Jacen, take up the position. Jacen moves opposed to Chief of State Cal Omas, hoping to bring the conflict to Corellia directly by blockading the planet. Jacen also imprisons Corellians on Coruscant, and interrogates the hunter Ailyn Vel, killing her in the process.

Unfortunately, the dark side paints the entirety of this conflict as dark forces move into positions of power and families are torn apart. Luke Skywalker, Grand Master of the New Jedi Order, can’t escape visions of a dark man sitting upon a throne of darkness. Jacen Solo, who has time walked to see Darth Vader’s march on the Jedi Temple, believes Anakin was simply too weak to actually resist the power of the dark side. He continues on his dark journey, taught and aided by Dark Lady Lumiya. Ben Skywalker still idolizes his cousin, and he does not realize the hold the dark side has taken on Jacen. Jacen’s hardline against the Corellians drives a wedge between him and Jaina, and the Solo family starts to fall apart from the inside. But as Jacen moves to the Sith, he realizes a sacrifice may need to be made as the Hapan Consortium is brought into the tempest…
