On a mission to recover a lost Alliance communicator, Leia Organa-Solo must grapple with the giant mechanical skeleton in her closet: her father, Darth Vader. Join the Legendary Adventures as Leia is haunted by her past in Tatooine Ghost!
In a quiet moment during the Battle of Endor, Leia’s world is rocked….twice. Most obviously, she learns that she has a brother: Luke Skywalker, hero of the Rebellion, and Jedi Knight. But, flying under her immediate radar, is the news that his father is Darth Vader. Which, then, means, well…Darth Vader is also her father. Pushing this information to the side, Leia and Luke take part in separate missions against the Empire: Leia in Han’s land crew and Luke on the second Death Star, confronting Vader and Sheev Palpatine personally. As the galaxy further erupted into war and chaos, Leia might have been able to continue to ignore the revelation about her father, choosing instead to honor the memory of her adopted father, Bail Organa.
Unfortunately, on a mission to recover a lost Alliance communicator, her past explodes in front of her, forcing her to confront everything she knew about Vader. Inside the Alderaanian painting Kilik Twilight, this communicator holds the keys to developing a system of communication between all of the Alliance spies. If Leia and Han Solo can protect it, the spies will remain safe from the pursuing Empire. Unfortunately, the Star Destroyer Chimaera is also on the look out for this device, so it becomes a race against time and a battle of wits for the Alliance to get this information first.
Leia and Han go in disguise to an art auction, where the Kilik Twilight is one of the centerpieces. This art auction is held on Tatooine, home to young Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker. While at the auction, Leia is confronted with a few reminders of Anakin’s past. First, she finds an image of Anakin Skywalker from the around the time of the Boonta Eve Classic. After realizing that Darth Vader was once a good-hearted young man, she seeks out more information on him. She meets Kitser Banai, who is now a thief on the planet, who is able to tell her about young Anakin’s kindness and good-heartedness. After speaking with Kitser, she is also able to read a journal once kept by Shmi Skywalker, detailing her love for little Anakin.
This all helps Leia immensely. She, now pregnant, is worried about the legacy that Darth Vader leaves for her family. Would her lineage be forever tainted by his dark choices? By learning that Anakin was once a good kid who made dark choices, Leia can be confident that her kids have a chance of being beacons of light in the galaxy as well.
Oh, yeah, and the art auction. Leia and Han retrieve the painting, despite the new tactical adviser that leads the Star Destroyer. Little do Han and Leia know that the Commander has a long history in both the Republic and the Empire, once sussing out their hideouts on Hoth and setting the trap for the Rebels on Endor. A dark force is rising, led by the heir to the Empire….
