NYCC 2023 Lucasfilm Publishing Panel: High Republic Phase III Teases, Jango Fett and Mace Windu Comics, And More Revealed!

New York Comic Con’s Lucasfilm Publishing panels always have something good in store for fans, but this one had much more than expected! Covering a wide swath of what’s next in comics and novels, the panel dove into some new details for the final Phase of The High Republic era, revealing we can soon hold an official lightsaber from said era, while the comics section was packed with surprising new series focusing on Prequel Trilogy characters, all while making a rather shocking announcement about one series’ end. Comic News: Black History Month Covers, Darth Vader: Black, White & Red Announced

After two years of special Pride Month covers, Marvel is expanding its selection of celebratory covers and now has ones coming up for Black History Month (and even Women’s History Month later)! Artist Mateus Manhanini goes hard on the incredible covers, which you can glimpse below the cut alongside which comic issue they’ll be releasing with, 10 total to enjoy and collect. Elsewhere, Marvel just can’t let Darth Vader die so they’ve announced a new miniseries with the Black, White & Red moniker, based off a series they do for Marvel comics proper, set to launch this April with the return of Jason Aaron, first interior art by Peach Momoko (!!), and more.
