Star Wars: Visions Vol. 3 Out October 29, Returning Stories and New, Plus Ninth Jedi Series Set for 2026! (SWCJ 2025)

Of all the panels and news to come for Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025, the Star Wars: Visions panel was my most anticipated considering the series would return to Japan’s legendary anime scene and several returning studios were coming back for more, leaving me eager to learn if that meant continuations for some of Vol. 1‘s best or not. My dreams not only came true, as sequels to “The Duel,” “The Village Bride,” and “The Ninth Jedi” are on their way, while the rest of the new stories look to set up for more visually arresting and intriguing new takes on the franchise, but my wildest expectations were blown out of the water when it was announced there would be a whole series around the world of “The Ninth Jedi”!!!!!! What?!?!!!! It’s a bold new direction for Visions and I’m so here for it! Visions Vol. 3 is out October 29, while Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi will follow in 2026. Check out all the cool new and returning stories below! Continue reading “Star Wars: Visions Vol. 3 Out October 29, Returning Stories and New, Plus Ninth Jedi Series Set for 2026! (SWCJ 2025)”

Star Wars Visions Review: “The Ninth Jedi”

Star Wars Visions Ninth Jedi Review Mynock Manor

Slight Spoiler Review

To quote Master Yoda, “Size matters not,” and while the length of a project doesn’t beget quality, Star Wars Visions’ longest short, “The Ninth Jedi,” by Production I.G. is one of its stunning best, thanks to many aspects including its thrilling action, unique concepts with lightsabers, and its great atmosphere. “The Ninth Jedi” keeps viewers on the edge of their seats and eagerly awaiting some type of continuation, as I know I am, considering this is my favorite short so far, just passing “The Village Bride.” Head below for our full review!
