The Clone Wars Anthology Novel Gets New Title, Cover, and Original Story
Revealed at NYCC 2019, The Clone Wars Anthology middle-grade novel has since gotten an updated cover, new titling, and an awesome artist reveal! Now titled The Clone Wars – Stories of Light and Dark, and still set for August 25 release, 10 of the 11 included stories will feature retellings of classic TCW episodes and arcs, while 1 features a brand-new tale about the Nightsisters! Canon Novel Review: Resistance Reborn

As part of the Journey to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Resistance Reborn, written by Rebecca Roanhorse, picks up with the tattered remnants of the Resistance after the events of The Last Jedi and begins to show how they deal with their loses and rebuild to fight another day. While it might be too short for its own good, Resistance Reborn is an excellent novel, combining years of canon together into a taut, interwoven joyride, introducing great new characters and seeing the return of several fan favorites, while making it rather easy for even new readers to enjoy. Journey to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Unveiled on May the 4th!
Celebrating 2019’s Star Wars Day in style, Lucasfilm announced the Journey to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker publishing program, teased a few weeks ago at Celebration Chicago 2019! A lot of the canon novel/comic material covers stories set between The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker, with Rey, Finn, Poe, Rose, Leia, and Chewie central to the tales as they attempt to rebuild the Resistance.
