To quote Master Yoda, “Size matters not,” and while the length of a project doesn’t beget quality, Star Wars Visions’ longest short, “The Ninth Jedi,” by Production I.G. is one of its stunning best, thanks to many aspects including its thrilling action, unique concepts with lightsabers, and its great atmosphere. “The Ninth Jedi” keeps viewers on the edge of their seats and eagerly awaiting some type of continuation, as I know I am, considering this is my favorite short so far, just passing “The Village Bride.” Head below for our full review! Ronin – A Visions Novel, written by Emma Mieko Candon, is one of a kind in so many ways, all of them stupendously good. Based off Star Wars Visions’ “The Duel,” Ronin expands on the short’s world, diving deep into its memorable characters and ripening its already intriguing story/take on the galaxy far, far away, resulting in a refreshing read that has all the hallmarks of the franchise wrapped in its original influences, explored with engulfing conversations and revelations that’ll stick with readers long after they finish. With the first three Star Wars Visions shorts, while they all pulled viewers into their world, it takes a bit to be comfortable with their different vision, but with Kinema Citrus’ “The Village Bride,” I was fully engulfed from the start and on the edge of my seat by the end, followed by on my knees in front of the TV begging for more of this world. Every short in Star Wars Visions has a unique take on the galaxy far, far away, though out of all of them, Studio Colorido’s “Tatooine Rhapsody” seemed like the biggest swing: the band Star Waver must rescue one of its members from Jabba the Hutt and Boba Fett.
