Star Wars Comics January 2024 Solicitations

January 2024’s Star Wars comics solicitations aren’t interested in your New Year’s resolutions or aspirations, as they have a distinct air of finality to them whether you want them to or not, seeming to promise the era of comics set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi might be winding down. But we should focus on the here and now, as Qui-Gon Jinn would say, and January’s comics have quite the bounty, from the giant, big finale to the Bounty Hunters series (see, things are ending!), a look at Marchion Ro’s victory lap after Starlight Beacon’s fall, another Visions comic to enjoy, and so much more! Star Wars Comics November 2023 Solicitations

As fall settles in and winter fast approaches, the days grow darker ever quicker here in the Midwest, fitting for the penultimate month of the Dark Droids crossover and the feeling of helplessness most of these issues will hold before our heroes manage to prevail against the droid Scourge. November then could really benefit from some light and life, couldn’t it? Phase III of The High Republic begins in earnest as Marvel’s on-going from Cavan Scott kicks off, alongside more Shadows of Starlight, while letting Peach Momoko set the stage for a series of Star Wars: Visions one-shots all sounds like the perfect remedy to the darkness, no? Star Wars Comics October 2023 Solicitations

At this age in my life, I don’t really expect a ton of gifts in my birthday month, instead looking forward to spending time with friends and family. While I don’t expect gifts, I always hope Star Wars comics will have some for me and October 2023 certainly does, as well as what are totally not gifts and are leaving me shaking in my Manor best robes. On the gift side, there’s some big droid showdowns in Artoo’s quest to save Threepio, The High Republic returns with what looks to be a impactful issue, Doctor Aphra and Magna Tolvan get back together….only for Magna to become a Scourge-infect gremlin?! And there’s going to be more Lando and Lobot drama that I’m sure my heart can handle anymore?
