Legendary Adventures: Fate of the Jedi – Omen

After millennia of waiting, the Lost Tribe of the Sith may have found a way back into the galaxy. But they may not even be the worst trouble faced by the Jedi, as more and more Jedi gain new powers – and go mad. Can Luke Skywalker find answers before the entire Order falls? Join the latest Legendary Adventures with Fate of the Jedi: Omen!

When the Sith Lady Lumiya was still alive, she travelled the galaxy in a sentient ship called Ship. The two shared a mental bond and Ship learned much about the Sith – and the galaxy – through its time with Lumiya. Now, free from a Master, Ship has travelled to Kesh, the homeworld of the Lost Tribe of the Sith. After accidentally being separated from Freedon Nadd’s fleet some 5000 years before, the Lost Tribe has grown in power on Kesh. Ship’s journey to the planet has given the Keshiri Sith a sign: it is time to leave Kesh and join the galaxy as rulers. They have amassed a small, ramshackle fleet and plan to go and reign over the galaxy, as they believed the Sith to be doing now. Even after being proven wrong about who’s in charge of the galaxy, two Sith, Lady Rhea and Vestara Khai, travel off of Kesh at the behest of their Dark Council. As the Sith consider their next moves, they sense a powerful presence in the Force, giving them their first target.

This powerful presence in the Force was none other than the now-exiled Grand Master of the Jedi Order, Luke Skywalker. Luke and his son, Ben, were exiled from Coruscant and are now retracing the steps of the fallen Sith Lord Darth Caedus, formerly and at his death, again, Jacen Solo, learning what he saw when he was alone and trying to figure out how he could’ve fallen to the darkness. This time, they meet monks from the Aing-Tii. The Aing-Tii are falling apart, as one of their own monks has begun to make apocalyptic prophesies and talk about the return of the Aing-Tii gods, Those Who Dwell Beyond the Veil. The prophecies are tearing the people apart, as some follow the monks and some are reluctant to listen. Luke and Ben’s Force powers are tested as they contact the Aing-Tii across space and the two Jedi are tasked with a mission: find Aing-Tii Force relics and prove the prophecies true (or not). The two are allowed access to a Force nexus called the Embrace, where Luke gains incredible power, reverberating across the galaxy. Starting with Fate of the Jedi: Outcast, the pattern of learning a new ability in the Force is replicated here, as Luke learns how to Flow Walk. Flow Walking essentially lets someone attuned to the Force see the way the Force connects all things, walking into past events and even having the ability to influence them. Luke does not bring answers to the Aing-Tii, but finds out more about these potential gods.

Luke Skywalker wasn’t the only one to Force walk, either. As Jedi continue to fall to the mysterious illness that makes them believe reality around them is illusory, the Galactic Alliance is forcing the Jedi to act. The Alliance puts mad Jedi into carbonite, locking them from hurting other people. At a cattle drive, where Leia Organa-Solo and Han Solo seek to buy a pet for their graddaughter, Allana Solo, a Jedi named Natua Wan succumbs to the illness. She begins to use new Force powers to escape capture by Leia, and unleashes a horde of dangerous animals on the exhibitionists in an attempt to escape. She is captured and put on carbonite by the Galactic Alliance. More Jedi are being captured, and the GA moves to put more and more on ice and continues to move popular opinion away from the Jedi, who now lack their Grand Master and are causing harm over the planet.

As tensions heat up between the Alliance and the Order, Luke must find answers quickly. A vision from the Force guides him to look into the Abyss and see what he finds there…
