Legendary Adventures: The Old Republic: Deceived (Revisited)

-Spoiler Review-

It’s hard to know, at the beginning of an adventure, what types of perils and troubles you will face on any journey. The Legendary Adventures have been no different: from exploding temples, to destruction in space, through hand to hand combat, against droids and clones, I have been wearied and delayed in relaying my last report. But wait no longer: read my experience of Star Wars: The Old Republic: Deceived! Continue reading “Legendary Adventures: The Old Republic: Deceived (Revisited)”

Legendary Adventures: The Old Republic: Revan (Revisited)

-Spoiler Review-

I’m about to reveal why I am the worst Star Wars fan, ever: when I picked up this book, I couldn’t remember the plot line of either Knights of the Old Republic games…like, at all. I had to go back to Wookieepedia to refresh my memory. Sure, it all came back to me pretty easily, but I still felt horrible. Woof. Feels good to get that off my chest! Now, how does The Old Republic: Revan stand as a milestone in my Legendary Adventure?

E3 2015 Star Wars News: Battlefront Gameplay Footage, SWTOR Expansion, Disney Infinity 3.0 Sets, and Mobile Games

While it feels just as staged as the demo us Star Wars Celebration Anaheim attendees saw behind-closed-doors, there’s no denying how beautiful Star Wars Battlefront looks, as seen in the above gameplay trailer. But that wasn’t all for Star Wars gaming news, as The Old Republic MMO had a new expansion announced, some more details on the Disney Infinity 3.0 playsets (like where you can get a Boba Fett figure first), and unfortunately another dang mobile card collecting game. The only disappointment was the lack of any news (not even a title!) for Visceral Games’ project. Head below for more video and details. Shadow of Revan Expansion for The Old Republic Coming Soon

As the teaser a few weeks back suggested, Revan is returning from a self-imposed exile. However, his return comes with a price: he’s leading an army of extremists to wipe out both the Republic and the Empire. As I mentioned in my previous post on Revan’s return, this might not sound like the Revan you crafted all those years ago, but darned if I don’t want to see this story through to the end. Below is a list of the new content and pre-order schemes for December 9nd’s Shadow of Revan expansion.

The Old Republic MMO Sees A Familiar (Masked) Face Return

The above video teases the return of (a possibly Darth) Revan, a part of the much beloved character we haven’t seen in Legends canon since flashbacks in the original Knights of the Old Republic game. While maybe this fits better with some of your multiple playthroughs of the game, his story has come a long, long way since then. Below contains heavy spoilers for The Old Republic MMO, Revan the novel, and the KotOR series, as I look at how Revan’s story has evolved and similarly become constrained over the decade since his first appearance.
