Star Wars Comics September 2018 Solicitations
September’s solicitations for Star Wars comics are in and while it sure seems to be an exciting month, from Vader visiting the place of his birth, Aphra finding herself in the crosshairs of multiple old foes, to plenty of “Hope” dying for the heroes of the Rebellion as the Empire starts to strike back, it’s also a sad month for the comics. Two miniseries, the new Lando and The Last Jedi adaptation, come to an end, but the biggest blow is Poe Dameron‘s adventures coming to a close for good. Canon Comic Review: Star Wars Adventures Annual 2018
IDW’s Star Wars Adventures, which launched in September of last year, as been steadily bringing readers great little stories with familiar characters big and small across the saga for quite some time. It’s Annual 2018 issue isn’t much different, though it has two great scribes in John Jackson Miller (welcome back to Star Wars comics, sir!) and Cavan Scott, and is the much awaited (or dreaded, depending on who you ask) return of the Marvel’s giant green bunny character, Jaxxon.
