As a special Star Wars Day 2018 present, the second half of episodes from Forces of Destiny‘s second season have arrived (announced the day before). Since there are usually eight, and this time only seven dropped, the remaining episode might be hiding in the TV special airing May 25 aka the same day as that little indie movie Solo: A Star Wars Story hits our galaxy, so maybe there’s a Qi’ra and Han episode on the way? In the meantime, check out the newest episodes below, along with a few quick thoughts. Full review of the second season to follow the TV special. Canon Young Reader’s Review: Forces of Destiny: The Leia Chronicles
After two volumes of Daring Adventures, the young reader’s Forces of Destiny book line moves into a more focused approach, wherein all three stories focus on a single character. The first volume focuses on Princess Leia, but also has surprise delights in store for fans of Star Wars Rebels!

Canon Comic Review: Star Wars Adventures – Forces of Destiny (#1-5)
When it was first announced the younger marketed Star Wars Adventures comics from IDW would have a Forces of Destiny tie-in miniseries, a show itself great for the same audience the comic reached, it felt like a match made in Cloud City. Now that all five issues of the female-centric miniseries have released, all written by female creatives, I can honestly say it belongs among the clouds, despite a few minor missteps that won’t really matter to core readers of the event series. Canon Young Reader Review: Forces of Destiny: Tales of Hope & Courage
October was a great month for Forces of Destiny. Disney XD aired two animated specials, each featuring four new shorts alongside four old shorts at the beginning and end of the month. Forces of Destiny: Daring Adventures vol 2, focusing on Ahsoka, Leia, and Jyn Erso debuted the same day as From a Certain Point of View. Finally, after a one week delay, Forces of Destiny: Tales of Hope & Courage was released. Feeling a bit overwhelmed yet?

Forces of Destiny Season One Review
The Forces of Destiny animated shorts, 2-3 minutes in length, are aimed at honoring the female heroines of the GFFA, released as two TV specials in the month of October, with more on the way next year. I’ll be going over the initial 16 episodes here, which include adventures with Princess Leia, Rey, Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, Ahsoka Tano, and many more, discussing why it’s easy to ignore their (literal) shortcomings and enjoy them as fun little stories with good moral kernels to devour, mainly for those way younger than this late-twenties year old.
