The Mandalorian Cast Announcement

Since its announcement back in October, The Mandalorian has been filming for these past few months, with rumors and industry trades getting fans’ hopes up for the show’s cast. Thankfully Lucasfilm has put it all to rest and officially announced the show’s cast: Pedro Pascal, “…has been cast in the title role as a lone Mandalorian gunfighter,” with Gina Carano, Giancarlo Esposito (the most exciting cast announcement for me!), Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog, and Nick Nolte rounding out the rest. No release date yet for The Mandalorian, but it’ll premiere on Disney+ after the service goes live late 2019. Rian Johnson Set to Create New Star Wars Trilogy, Live-Action TV Show Plans Announced
