Look, I could on and on about how much Star Wars Rebels feels like Star Wars just from the above 7 minutes. Whether it be the sound effects (those speeders take me back to Endor’s forests), the humor, the visuals (Star Destroyer soaring over Lothal was stunning), or the score (anyone else gets chills when part of the Force theme played over Ezra noticing Kanan?) but suffice it to say, it all brings back a classic and breathtaking feeling. By the time you’re done watching it, you’ll understand what I’m talking about. Everyone was raving on about Rebels after the one-hour premiere was shown at SDCC last month and I can already see why…and it’s only the first 7 minutes! October can’t come soon enough.
That moment when Kanan backs up into a stormtrooper? Priceless.
