Updated Star Wars Comics June/July 2020 Solicitations

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the world in many different and unpredictable ways, and the entertainment industry has been in flux ever since. Comics stopped shipping for the most part in early April after Diamond Comics stopped distribution, but they have since begun shipping once again, with new comics hitting open comic shops for the first time on May 20. The upcoming schedule of comics has drastically changed, so the previously promised Star Wars comics have shifted in a big way. Marvel and IDW have begun to reveal their updated schedules (via Florian of Jedi-Bibliothek), so we’ve included the new list for the issues out in June and July 2020 below! Mynock Manor Suggests: Captain Phasma Expanded Content

Staying at hotels, B&Bs, and even Airbnb’s there are often concierge services available about what to see and do in the area you’re visiting, so we’ve opened the concierge desk at the Manor to offer suggestions on what to read, watch, and enjoy when wanting to find out more about your favorite Star Wars characters now that you have the free time to do so! Every once in a while, a character appears in a Star Wars film, full of intrigue and promise of future stories, deep lore, and expansive adventures. One such character was Captain Phasma, first introduced in the teaser trailer for The Force Awakens. With chrome armor and a long cape, Phasma gained the attention and excitement of fans across the galaxy. Star Wars Comics January 2020 Solicitations

January is a time for new beginnings and all those important resolutions we love to make, like watching more Star Wars…but on a treadmill. It’s also a time of uncertainty for what’s ahead, as we don’t quite know what’s next for the Star Wars Saga after The Rise of Skywalker brings the Skywalker part of it to an end (and if the epic trailer from Monday is anything to go by, it’s going be a brave new galaxy), but we at least get our first glimpses of Marvel’s relaunching efforts in 2020 and beyond with today’s solicitations. Star Wars Comics August 2019 Solicitations

By the end of August 2019, both the 14-acre Star Wars theme park expansions will be open, signaling a new era for ways to interact with the Saga, making it feel a little less far, far away. And as fans gear up for The Rise of Skywalker and The Mandalorian, the comics continue the beat of their own drums, though with the Galaxy’s Edge and TIE Fighter minis coming to an end, what might take their place? Journey to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Unveiled on May the 4th!

Celebrating 2019’s Star Wars Day in style, Lucasfilm announced the Journey to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker publishing program, teased a few weeks ago at Celebration Chicago 2019! A lot of the canon novel/comic material covers stories set between The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker, with Rey, Finn, Poe, Rose, Leia, and Chewie central to the tales as they attempt to rebuild the Resistance.
